Sweet maybe we can figure out a way to unlock bands... I think its more of a software lock then hardware as from what I see online unlocking NA bands requires a licence and umi probably doesn't get the licence to keep cost down.

Bands/Frenquencies are limited by hardware and might be unlock by software

This phone if fully 4G supported in Denmark, but only one provider ( TDC ) use the 800 MHZ band, the other 2 - 3 G bands should work fine too.

So i will have to do without the 800 mhz band as my provider is not roaming partner with TDC, and thats alright my 4 year old 3 G phone is just fine so 4 G is just icing on the cake.
Also the phone is way overkill for my need, but it seemed such a good offer i couldn't turn it down as my old HTC phone have become flaky and probably die soon.

I just ordered this phone also I'm in canada, looks like one of my LTE bands will be available... wi ...

If you're in Canada you will have full 4G/LTE support. Just watched a review from redskulls on the Umi Z on youtube and he's in Canada and LTE is working for him.

Over here in the UK i never had any issues with 4G/LTE, the only really let down with these umi devices are all the bugs and poor GPS.

I really wished that this phone would work in the USA on bands B17 or B12.   I have AT&T and I really do need to use LTE speeds.  Any suggestions?
