Hi,

I investigated this issue and the engineers said that, the correct aperture value is f2.0, so I'm sorry for my misleading earlier info. So, the Android 7.0 release shows a wrong data and that will be fixed in next release as promised. It's still just a written wrong data and the camera can work with only one aperture value and as it turned out, it's f2.0.

For information only: the front camera is working at f2.0 on the Nougat.The problem is only in the rear camera.

To verify my information, take a photo on the marshmallow and another with nougat. Check the information on the exif of the photos.

I agree with everything, you've already written - very, very pity, UMI can not coordinate the same setting at all firmwares!

Here is my experience until now:
I've bought UMI Plus on base of the first review. I was very curios of this product, very important is for me quality of Camera, too. I said myself, I will try and will see.
I got and spent ca one week, then I decided is very good device, system works fluently, no lags there, Camera is enough for me too - is cheep device can not expect better , so I will will using this one as daily driver - firmware from Android 6 V3.01_20161009 ROM.
Then in the next days I flashed update Plus V3.01_20161019 ROM , next OTA update, then 1st version of N7, than flashed N7 2nd one. Must say, system again works well, however with the Camera, there is big chaos! One times is f/2.0, than 2.2, than update via OTA again 2.0, 2.8 (N7 1st one) now 2.2 (N7 2nd) - current version. Very sad story. But Ok, the number is not important, for me is important quality of pictures and here is biggest problem for me! Since V3.01_20161019 ROM there is a lot of noise and quality of the images is no longer good for me . I compared all version.
Yesterday I have made downgrade to the V3.01_20161009 and I'm again where is OK for me.
This only I add: the bad USB C (often leaking) I solved with thin aluminium tape - also it is a pity, about length of USB connector better don't speak, really don't understand why.

Maybe I'm not alone and is useful for UMI.

What do you think UMI's stuff? Try verify my experience yourself.

I only wanted to share my experience. Must also write, I'm from Czech republic and I didn't noticed problem with GPS or LTE (4g) signal with Vodafone carrier - compared with S4 Samsung (my previous one). Also I very well know, device is cheep and we can not expect better components and that's why I was surprised on the beginning and decided leave it as my daily driver.

umi team need to do lots of mistakes corrections whole umi brands waste of money umi brands nthing any user satify user since when i joined this community forum
