Replace digitizer

Hello.

The front screen on my Umi Touch broke and now the touchscreen won't work. The LCD works fine, i just want to replce the glass.

Can i just replace the glass? Or do i have to buy the glass+the LCD screen and replace them both?

I tried changing the digitiser/glass in some Samsung phones and all I did was wreck the LCD. Much simpler to change the whole assembly which is about $40 for a Touch from memory.
