@NecroBlade sadly no, it's still the same. I did disassemble it and reconnected the power and screen cables, but nothing changed. I contacted the seller and they told me to send it back to china to get a full refund, or keep it and have a partial refund. I ended up choosing the partial refund as sending it back to china was the same as buying a new screen.
Anyway, I still didn't order the new screen because I would like to be sure the problem really is the screen, as the phone was working fine for some days before this happened.
I'm happy with the phone other than that. I don't think I could get anything better for what I've paid (if the screen worked properly). An official answer to the problem would be nice, as it seems this is a common problem, I've also found it on the UMI SUPER thread, for instance. |
