In order to explain my situation let me explain first the timing of mysteps to repair my UMI Iron Pro terminal, ordered via Banggood on Nov-18-2015and received on 26-12-2015.
From first date all was working fine, except I couldn’t engage 4G connection,only 3G.
I've compared the type of connection with another Samsung A5 Duos getting 4G connection with same SIM's.

After being reading this forum to try a hint to fix this trouble, I've decidedto go to RMA.
  •     31/03/2016: RMA request to Banggood. After several emails and a video to show the fault...
  •     29/04/2016: Package airmail shipment to Banggood. Once the package was received at Banggood, was     processed the RMA and sent to UMI for repair.
  •     14/07/2016: the terminal repaired was sent back from UMI to Banggood.
  •     04/08/2016: terminal received in Spain.

For summary, after 4 months and 27 € (airshipment cost) the terminal is back.
Now I'm testing if the problem was fixed, but I'm afraid is not.
I can't really test if 4G connections are reachable, because after unlockingthe two SIM's with the corresponding PIN, the connection goes on some times andmostly if off.
As result I can send or receive any call and of course, is useless to expect 4Gconnections on this situation.
The phone seems to be really serviced, according the labels I've found on theterminal and on the terminal box. The hand writing seems to be Chinese and Idon't understand what's in.

Mr.bencebacsi: I would appreciate you opinion about all this and alsosome hints in order to get back working the terminal:
  • My understanding is the most probable reason is     the some antenna is not having a proper connection. Could you please indicate where I have to look for the antenna that could be involved on this failure? Attached one image (WainViewBack.jpg) extracted from the     video "UMI IRON (Teardown & Bend test..) I plan to try myself to fix  it becasuse I don't want to start the send/receive loop back again.
  • Any other hint, would be appreciated.

P.S.: I'm forzed to regognize the kind attention to my problem that I've received at Banggood Customer Service.

Regards,

Hi,

Please check the specs page of the UMi Iron Pro.
http://www.umidigi.com/?page-UMIIRONPRO_Specification.html
The LTE band used by your service provider might not be supported by this model.
You also can check the compatibility on willmyphonework.net

Hello;

First of all, thaks for the replay.
I'm aslo owner of an UMI Super and using same SIM's, I get 4G connection allways on UMI Super and never on UMI Irom Pro.
Therefore is not matter of provide, os SIM's: is the phone.
Please, check is the setting are ok on this post.

Thanks again.

Hi gabejm_hines;

I'm not based on US but in Europe.
The trouble with 4G LTE on IRON are the bands. It is only compatible with 1800/2100/2600 MHz.
If you carrier doesn't support any of these frecuencies; I'm afraid you're yield.
Only 3G for you..!
