Missing fingerprint option

Hi, I finally got UMI Touch yesterday, I am quite satisfied with purchase except fingeprint is not working. In Option->Security it is missing. I discovered this before installing anything, so it must be missing from factory. I tried to instal update, but option is still missing. Could you include fix for this in next OTA?

Looking at my Touch the menu is: Settings/Security/Fingerprint. Strange for something to be missing off the menu from the factory. Should be interesting to see what the moderator says.

I think that this fingerprint sensor has got some defect. There are some topic about lost fingerprint unlock option in menu or not properly working sensor etc.

Can you check which ROM version is your phone? Have you updated your phone to the newest ROM version V3.03-20160510? If you have updated it already, but still have this problem. I suggest you to flash your phone with the flash tool following on this instruction: http://community.umidigi.com/for ... peid%26typeid%3D165

I already did this operation without success I still don't have the fingerprint option.

Dear users who still have missing fingerprint settings even after SPFT flashing,

Get through on the following process.

1. Download and flash your phone with the v3.03-20160423 version choosing the 'Format All + Download' option. Link: http://goo.gl/6BvkmY
2. Reboot your phone (you won't have mobile connection), just connect to a WiFi router and update your phone via FOTA.
3. After rebooting, check the fingerprint settings again.


If the above process doesn't solve your problem, then you must have a specific hardware issue, that cannot be solved by a software way.
