I'm glad that my hardware so far hasn't had any issues after 14 months now. Anyway, I will never buy a Umidigi device again due to their lack of software support. It's such a shame. The devices are really well made and powerful and would deserve future upgrades. So now I'm stuck on a ROM version from last september with no more security updates whatsoever. Upon asking the support team about those and why they didn't include the security patches in their last two updates, they replied they weren't aware of any security issues and Google wouldn't provide them with info how to get them and incorporate them into their ROM. So they are either lying or blatantly incompetent.

Hi, i'm new user of a smartphone umidigi f1 play eu,i've a trouble,the smartphone comes to me as new but i've open package and the smartphone has the classic red bookmark tee google not active,so i search in net and i've solved this problem with your guide,but now i've another problem the smartphones get 3g/4g signals but is unable to surf internet or to make and receive calls/sms,(in 2g the phone is perfect) how can i solve? Thanks

Hello,
I recently bought an Umidigi F1 Play. The phone displays FOTA version UMIDIGI_F1.E_V1.0_20190718_20191104-1655 (as shown in attachment).
I would like to have this exact firmware on my pc, in case I want to experiment with custom roms and then go back to the version the phone came with.
However, it seems this firmware is not present on the forum section about F1 Play, and the other firmwares seem older. May you please point me to a place where I can download the firmware installed on my phone, so that in case of need I can flash it back on the phone with SPFT?
