UMI Emax Mini sound problem

Hi,
I bought an Emax Mini a couple of weeks ago. It was working fine until the audio from the external speaker suddenly disappeared when watching a youtube video.
The other sounds, notifications etc don't come through the speaker. I have no problem with calls or the mic.
I have tried a factory reset and safe mode but still no sound from the external speaker.
I am faily sure the speaker worked intermittently a couple of times, which makes me think it might be a hardware issue, but doesn't work at all now. I usually have my phone on silent but I do need speaker volume for alarms and videos.
Anyway, I thought I'd ask here in case this was a known issue. Any help appreciated!

Same thing happened to me but winded up resolving its self. Saying that tho my phone randomly broke on me while I was watching  YouTube video.
