HELP!

We're having a major issue with the A1 i got for my wife. It won't connect to wifi unless we reboot. And after a couple hours it loses wifi again. It looks like it tries to connect. You can see the little indicator moving across. But it will not connect. Turning wifi off and on doesn't help. Is there something I can't find that is telling wifi to sleep?

Thank you

This is very strange.
Did you format or flash with SPFT your phone?
Also did you delete all connected devices and set only your A1 pro to Wi-Fi router?
There always can be some influence from other devices.
Sometimes you need go to Wi-Fi settings and change to static IP number.
Also please change to 5GHz and test.

Thank you for getting back. It's currently really bad. Wasn't connected when she woke up. Rebooted. Twenty minutes later no connection. I forgot network. Put it back. Connected. 5 minutes later no connection.

Don't know what #1
#2 I have a few devices connected to box. Have never had an issue with at least probably 20 different phones. This happens to her at work and library too.
Static. Wondered about that
5GHz. Also wondered about that. It should change on its own. I'll see if I can find the setting.

BTW I've already done a factory reset. Twice

If Wi-Fi router is two bands (2.4 and 5 GHz) during connection you can choose from those band. For IP settings :
Settings - network and Internet - Wi-Fi - choose Wi-Fi - advanced options - IP settings - static then change only last 3 digits from IP address and save.

Thank you for that. The issue is at home, at her work, and at my daughter's. So far. She hasn't really tried wifi elsewhere.

I'm very, very upset with this phone. I knew I was taking a gamble buying a phone from afar. By the time I send this back to China, and then she's without a phone I may as well but something locally from a known brand

I would like to return my A1 Pro if this ...

For such request you should contact directly to your seller.
But I can tell you that this is definitely not software issue because we can't confirm this on our testing devices. If is software defects then would affect every A1 pro.
Did you perform factory reset or flash complet ROM with SPFT?
This is very important to narrow down suspected faults.
Also you didn't informed us about changing IP to static etc
