Odd battery behaviour (once more)

I'm starting to see some odd battery behaviour recently (last couple of weeks).

Battery stats

Without any warning, and without being in use, the phone just dies for no apparent reason. I think I've seen similar behaviour reported in the ROM thread, but I doubt it's ROM related, as I've been on latest version since it was released, and I've just started to see this quite recently.
As the phone is only like 10 months old, I find it hard to believe the battery is giving up already.

Well, this is goodbye from me then. Yesterday the display (despite the phone being turned off for a couple of days) gave in and cracked right across the middle, from the pressure of the swollen battery. The replacement battery from AliExpress will probably be in my mail box tomorrow. While it worked, the Super was a very good phone, punching well above its price, but a life expectancy of less than a year is a waste of both money and resources. Understandably I won't buy another phone from Umi ever again.
This forum has been the best experience and I'll like to extend my thanks to both admins and peer who have been extremely helpful and made my time with this phone a pleasure (while it lasted).

10 months and after updating to A7 last version, New Battery!!The battery it's inflated?

This is not system fault especially that Android 7 is charging with higher voltage but lower current caused cooler device to protect battery. Simply as everything is wearing during using and exactly this happened to you.
Every battery have certain charging and discharging cycles in whole life so probably you got to the end of this.
Please order new battery as is very cheap (around $7)

Yeah, I've read several similar posts in the ROM forum, so I'm not alone in this.
$7 isn't much for a new battery - Agree, but I'm amazed it only lasted 10 months. I'm on a 2 year phone upgrade cycle, and never (since my first smart phone HTC Dream, 8 years ago) have the battery conked out. And I'm a sucker for cheap and cheerful Chinese phones!

I think that there is a problem.I can't see a battery,that supposedly using Sony cells,only lasting ten months

\n\nYeah seems like this Battery are made to last 10 months or 1 year max few quality/life..so we should have always another one saved to change??!!!

I am 100% certain that this is software issue, if not rom issue.
My cellphone is less than 4 months old and that already happened to me several times (from 15% to 0%) whithout being used.
This started to happen since the update to A7...
... conclusions???

To add insult to injury, it seems like the swollen battery phenomenon is starting to show up too. I just discovered a bluish tint in the middle of the screen, and if I put it screen down on a flat surface (polished stone) I can spin it like a propeller, which suggests  the screen is somewhat convex.
Now, keeping my fingers crossed, my new battery arrives before the display pops out.
