UMI Z double-tap and screen protector fit

Hello all
So far very happy with my UMI Z. Upgraded to 7.1.1 with no problem. Only thing that does not seem to work is the double-tap wake-up which did not seem to work from the beginning although I enabled it. This is important because it saves a lot of Power Button operations. Maybe just a software problem? I bought a tempered glass screen protector but the one I got via Amazon does not fit perfectly. Please see the attached photo. Does anyone know a vendor who has really original fitting screen protector? I fear this one may interfere with some functions as it covers some of the features partially.

I presume that you activate double tap. You can perform factory reset in case any errors in system. If you want save physical buttons you can also activate fingerprint unlocking function and smart lock.

Please be aware that some hard screen protectors could not glue on edges correctly but they are perfectly cut in to size.

Yes of course I activated the double tap. It responds some times, most times not or I have to insist a lot. For the moment I am trying to find a flip case with a window to show the clock. I got one from AliExpress from Shenzhen Gldron Technology Co., Ltd but the case does not fit well. It stays open as if the phone was too thick (I had removed the screen protector so the phone was just the original thickness). When I press the cover down to see if the window is activated it does not show the S Window clock, just the home screen. Then curiously if I fold the cover back on the bottoom ot the phone, the S Window appears on the front!? Very strange.
I would like to add that apart from these curious problems the phone works perfectly and I am very satisfied with it. I upgraded the OS to Android 7.1.1. with the latest ROM I found on the forum and the update went very well. So far no problem with any of the apps I was using but It's still early to have a good idea. Thanks for you reply

It would be nice if you could inform UMI
I think it would be a great idea for UMI to ask all the suppliers of accessories for UMI smartphones to present their accessories for approval by UMI. Testing is very quick and easy. And then UMI could issue a certification so that people buying these accessories are sure to get something that works. And resellers like AliExpress could indicate that on their site and give priority to certified products. This is already the second accessory I buy and that proves to be no good for the UMI Z...
By the way, do you know if there will be an official update OTA soon to Nougat?

\n\nSee attached files. Note the cutout at the top of the screen protector is too small and covers over the notification LED. And see how the cover of the flip case stays open

Now that I removed the hard screen protector the double tap to wake the phone works much better. I think I'll just forget the screen protector, eventually jus buy a case (not a flip case)

Thanks, your video does show your cover works fine, so maybe just a different supplier? The cover I received definitely does not close fully. There is also another problem: the S-Window does not activate. I found that the reason is the little magnet embedded in the flip cover is not powerful enough. I placed a magnet removed from another case I had bought for my previous phone (Elephone P9000) and which was damaged, on top of the cover at the right place and this activates the S-Window correctly, clearly showing the problem is not realted to the phone itself but to the case. Or else AliExpress did not send me the right item? In any case they refunded me but I hesitate ordering again if I'm not sure I can get somehting that woks correctly.
