Are you talking about displaying/screen/glass or glass protector???
Glass it self can't give you any faults as is made as OGS so digitizer and glass are one unit joined in factory.
If you have problem with outer glass (screen protector) you really can't do too much only try different type of screen protector or contact to supplier. Also can try buy plastic (foil) protector not glass type.

Be honesty to you we don't have problems with Umi plus E. Pictures are not top quality but are definitely mid range. We don't have other bugs or issues. Please perform factory reset or use SPFT and flash complete ROM.
I don't know anything about next further update. They trying develop umi OS for umidigi S2 which using same SoC and I hoping that will be compatible with Umi plus E with some modifications. But this is only my hoping.
