Can't get foldernount to work properly on umu iron 1.6 rom

Hello all

I am having trouble getting foldernount to work properly on the 1.6 rom. I gratnetd it superuser access through SuperSU. However it can't seem to create folders or write to my SD card. Anyone successful in getting foldernount to work on the iron? Any ideas??

Hi,

FolderMount can't move system folders like Android and DCIM or some subfolders in them. Didn't you try to move a system folder?

Still not working. Foldermount thanks it does not have  write permissions despite the fact that in fixed it.

Try to run SDFix. That should work with lollipop too.

I did ... SD card works fine. All programs have access - but Foldermount still not working properly

In that case, I'm afraid, you should ask the developer of foldermount. If you're willing, you still can try to do a factory reset, then install SDFix first and foldermount just after that. Foldermount can create confusing symlinks that can't be removed (or it would be too complicated) without a factory data reset.

This was really helpful.
Foldermount still doesn't work, but now I can save maps and podcasts on my SD card.
This is enough for me for now.
