UMI MAX Restore problem

I have received my UMI MAX replacement after I had some troubles with the epeakerphone of my old UMI MAX.

I am having problems restoring my apps and settings from my google account.

When I set my new UMI MAX using my google account details, I am not getting the "which device" option which allows you to choose a previous backed up device to restore from. I checked my google account and I know that my old device was backed up on 30 may 2017.

I contacted Google support and they said that UMI MAX is not supported by google play and that could be the reason why I can not access the restore function, they suggested I contact the manifacturer.
The strange thing with what google are saying is that I was able to use the restore function with my old UMI MAX!

Any suggestions on how I could restore my data from google account would be much appreciated.
