umi z two main issue

Hi Umidigi,
there are two main issues that have been reported many times.one of them is laser focus does not work, the other one is software optimization.you can get max 4-5 hr screen on time if you do not play game.and phone consumes 20-25% idle on battery.so far none of them has been fixed.camera and battery the most importatnt part of the phone.if you do not fix them, what will you fix?umi z is a good phone, but there is no enough support.hope someone will hear us.thanks

I fully agree. Time has come to do a real serious effort to get the phone working without problems. Let us get a good OTA software update soon fixing all the problems. It is my impression that the phone is instable and problems turn up in different areas on different phones.

I am considering to give up and buy a real Android phone such as NEXUS 5X.

I have sent my UMI-Z to the dealer for repair. It was not possible to conduct a proper factory reset. When I pressed volume down and power buttons simultaneously I did not get to factory reset but another menu with 5 choices.

I look forward to get the phone back or a replacement.
