Hi everyone, I've created this post to know if someone has the same problem than me:

I bought an UMI PLUS E in January 2017 that arrived in March 2017.
2 months later I'm having a lot of problems with this phone as listed below:

-GPS (doesn't work, it continuously jumping from street to street)
-4G (doesn't work too)
-Data Connection (Both chips lost connections almost the time, here in Brazil I'm using NEXTEL and VIVO operators, sometimes I need to restart the phone to have internet connection again)

Thanks in Advance
Gustavo

That's odd, everything works in Belgium (4G & GPS) :-/

Maybe a reset factory will solve the problem ?

My opinion and to be honest to you, this is my best phone I ever had!!! And this is not joke!
I have no problems since I started to use this phone and compare to my old Samsung Galaxy S4, Zenfone 2 ZE551ML and Apple iPhone 6 16GB I will stay on this main phone as long as it will be modern. I do not know what bug is, what is problem to catch signal or GPS.  Everything works smoothly and without any problem. Compare to iPhone 6 signal is much more stronger especially 4G, GPS signal catch until 5 second and Bluetooth I use with car hands free.

Only one small problem is with ID touch as I need sometimes to use my fingers 2-3 times until my finger is recognized. This could be better!!!

And one more... I am maybe first and last person who don't want really Android 7 as I do not believe everything will works fine as now.

Hi Chance, how can I reset my phone by factory  master reset? I did it using menu CONFIG/Backup and Recovery.

Hello,

yes, restart your phone a imediatelly press volume UP button and hold-hold-hold until you see grean Android icon on your display.
When you see android icon press power button and volume UP to see recovery option. Find wipe cache and wipe all data. Both lines in menu.

Find wipe cache partion and restart as normal. Good luck. :-)

PS: Of course you should have UMIDIGI Plus E V3.02_20170216 ROM already installed then do this step. Then your fone comes as new. :-)

Fwiw....

GPS, tips and tricks out there....

4g.... It does work, but maybe just not for your situation.

I'm in Scotland and B20 won't work, not because of Umi , but the networks won't use android VoLTE settings. And part of the network agreement during spectrum sale was there MUST be the ability to make a call... So they won't allow a phone to connect that they don't sell/support.

My other 4g bands work fine , but I live in a large area of 2g only.
