UMIDIGI Z Pro S View Cover

Hello,
I have just got new UMIDIGI Z Pro and original flip case for it with clock window.
I have found that when I flip the cover to the back of the phone it locks the screen and shows the clock.
At mine point of view it was better solution to place magnet sensor in the left part of the phone as I have noticed it was implemented at Plus E model.
I saw a lot of threads at the forums with complaints about this issue, so why not to try to solve it ? Maybe you could modify S View application not to use just magnet sensor but
proximity sensor + magnet sensor at the same time ? So this way it will detect cover more properly. Could you please consider such change in the future updates ?

I have the same issue. I try to put the magnet on the front of the phone, but it doesnt work at all. There is something wrong in the S-view cover idea.

Please remove cover from phone and try line up magnet from other side of S view cover. If this works then probably magnet is fitted upside-down or inversely.

I try with few magnets. It just doesnt work from the top side of the phone.

Definitely original Umi s-view cover working correctly.
Please look on pictures where is located magnet.

\n\nEven magnet DIDN'T WORK from the screen side!!! But it works on the opposite side of the phone.
I have also ASUS with SMARTCOVER and S-VIEW works on it.
There is something wrong with the phone
Also on the back side, sensor work on ANY magnet orientation

Have NO comments!!! I just enable via engineering menu -> Sensors Hub -> Magnetometer, it start workig. BUT when i open the case and put on the back side, it cancel the phonecall!
Is there anobody who can help with this issue?! I just need functional phone!!!

Hello, here is the solution I found for the issue. I bought Cafele magnet phone holder for a car from aliexpress. So it has some steel plates. I sticked one on the inner side of the cover so it shields the magnet sensor on the back of the phone.
