Information about Android 7?

Could an umidigi employee please provide us with information about when we'll get Android 7?
All the other phones are getting it except for the umidigi Plus E! This is a great phone but one of the reasons I bought it was so I could get Android 7 to run on it!
Just tell us the information you have. Will we get Android 7 and if so, when? (doesn't have to be a precise date)

With all due respect Marcin, but the conduct of the UMI is outrageous. They promised UMI Plus E with Android 7.0 after removing it from the box. Now they claim that there is no SDK for SoC P20?  It's not true. Samsung, Sony and even Alcatel have already released Android 7.0 for this SoC. I am compassionate to you and Ben, but UMI does not take seriously its clients. Why does not even update Android 6.0? After all, there are many bugs to improve, you can also add some features. I greet UMI users and I wish a lot of understanding and patience.

This is too much. I've just seen that a new deviced is being announced, Umidigi C Note.
MarcinP and Ben, you are doing very well as moderators.
But situation is reaching a new level of disrespect, and needs to be dealed with.

Facts.

Long outdated software for Plus E. As mentionned by Niuniek007, lots of other devices with same Soc got the SDK. Why promising 7.0 if it was still doubtful/uncertain to get it !!!?
Buggy / poor quality camera, very far from what advertised, close to being scam.
Faulty harware (USB C port, issues with ghost touches or buggy touch panel, unreliable sensor ID...)
Huge lack of customer service: no real firmware update, no bug correction.
Constant promises, no deeds: "release around summer time" is that a joke ? During the past 5 monthes, release date changed something like 4 times !
Today a new device is announced...meaning we will never get any support for our Plus E, and Z/Z pro owners should worry too !!!

You will get Android 7.0 through to OTA update.
Releasing date will be around summer time as currently MTK did not provide SDK for P20 SoC to UMI engineers yet.

J'ai également pris le Plus E, je ne rencontre pas de problème particulier pour le moment concernant à certain. Mais je suis déçu, toujours pas de OTA pour Android 7.0 alors q'un nouveau modèle sort toute les semaines pour le moment chez UMI.

Je m'adresse aux équipes commerciale, je ne pense pas que je prendrais a nouveau UMI, et si c’était a refaire, je ne l'aurais pas pris. Car pour le moment déçu non pas pour le matériels car comme je disais pas de soucis mais par le service a la clientèle, le manque d'informations....

phone is good with some bugs.....but UMi promises to provide Android 7 and they will keep updating!!!!!!! witch kind of costumer support is this???? UMi plus e is my second UMi phone after the super.... but if they will not support costumers i'll throw it and go back to Xiaomi and HTC

HiBe honesty to you Samsung is not producing smartphones with Mtk SoC.
Alcatel idol 5s is cost €552 and expecting announced it for March 2017 and currently is in pre sale. So realistically this phone is not in market yet.

Meizu X, Elephone P20, and umi plus E doesn't have android 7.0 yet.
Also elephone z1 is coming with Android 6.0 out of box.
Only one time for very short time was information that umi plus E will be coming with Android 7.0 out of box but this information was removed in few days and never again repeated. All provided information about Android 7.0 for p20 SoC was that there will be OTA update in future.

Currently this phone only existing on paper as wasn't announced yet.
Probably will be never on European marked.

About update for Android 6.0 we don't know when engineers release another update.
Maybe please write bugs/issues which you facing on current ROM.
