Since the upgrade to Android 7  I encountered the full list of troubles; battery discharging faster, below 50% it could be in seconds, bluetooth troubles WiFi troubles, gps inaccuracies, slow charging and so on. Last week white spots appeared on the screen and yesterday the screen cracked spontaneously while laying on the table. Couldn't unlock the screen any more since part of the screen didn't respond to touch anymore. Removing the simcard was troublesome due the pressure of the swollen battery.

The shop, banggood.com doesn't refund broken screens, since they usually occure due to clumsiness.

After screwing the UMI Super open I found indeed a swollen battery. The battery feels very liquid.

I know I probably am screwed on the warranty, but I do wish warn others to claim warranty before the screens cracks. Look for white pressure spots on your screen, quick discharging (from 50% to 0% in seconds).

Hello, I have had the same problem. The battery was swollen and the Display was under high pressure. The seller by ebay didn.t answere me (I write 5 times or more) the phone was 6 month old.The pressure was so high that the buttons fall out. So i open it and the Battery was double size. I bought a broken Umi super ba ebay and changed the case and the battery. Now it works fine again. I am not happy about the seller but what should i do? Wish you good luck ( sooooorrry my english I am german)

I am having the same problem , my screen is bent like G flex and battery can't hold for 10 mins on use . Probably gonna throw the phone in trash and never buy an UMI again. Such a shame that I need to worry if it's gonna explode right beside my head. The worse thing is that I actually liked the phone except for the main camera

Hi
You can fix this phone for around €50
Here you can get parts

Excuse me? UMI ships a faulty product and your advice is that the consumer should void it's warranty by opening the device and selfreplace faulty parts? And even pay for these parts? What kind of costumer support is that? Best way is to contact the reseller and return the product! As soon as you experience white spots of battery pressure on the screen. Don't open your phone before you tried to get warranty! It is very tricky to get the battery loose, you easily break the connector or damage other parts. Please explore the options with your reseller before opening the phone!

i have EXACTLY the same problem! white spot on the screen and battery after reaching 50% goes down to zero immediately.... also the lcd screen is up as something is pushing it - that indicates the swollen battery ((

Try to settle warranty before your screen cracks, that's my advice.

I don't know why you have issue for my answer.
As you can see we always advising customers to contact to seller but this customer already opened his device so is no more warranty and only one option is to fix himself. That why I forwarded links for parts.
Please read more careful my posts and try understand before blame for my answer.
