Ok so yesterday i got a notification on my umi like i usually do of a new wireless update.
And as per usual i made sure i had full charge and then proceeded with the update.
Iv had this phone since last june and updates have always been quick and smooth, the longest part is always downloading part depending on file size.

It downloaded and then started to install, the phone shut off and then the green android popped up on a black screen.
The little green dude just stood on the screen with its wiggling ears for a bit and then disappeared about about 5 minutes.
I expected the phone to automatically come on at this point but it didnt, yet i waited for an hour just incase it was secretly updating.
I didnt want to distrupt any updates.

After about an hour i realised something must be wrong and tried the power button to put it on. Got no response.
Tried to put it on charge but the led didnt light up at all. Tried all 3 chargers around the house. Still nada.

This morning i got up and did a little research on how to flash a rom since i figure the wireless update has crapped up the phone.
I dont know if im doing something wrong but when i flash it shows the red bar on my laptop at 100% then i get a "ram unexpected" error.
Iv tried download only, firmware update and the reset and download options on the SP flash thing. Nothing works.
Now i have no idea what to do. Please help!
I dont care if i lose all the data on thier i just need a working phone which can make and take calls!

Also another thing i want to point out I did flash my husbands phone with a update 2 months ago when he broke the screen on his Umi super and the new screen which came needed the a different firmware or something, there was a guide from one of the umi mods i think on which firmware you needed to flash for screen replacements to make the screen touch work. It was working fine since then. So i think i got the right tools download on my laptop for flashing. Just doesnt seem to want to do anything this time round.

Hi
Here is SPFT updating instruction but if you need write new TP drivers you need skip 6th step to overwrite all partitions
http://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=11
And here you have all available ROMs
http://community.umidigi.com/forum-134-1.html
I would recommend firstly try latest Android 6.0 to check is everything working as this version is very stable. Then you can use OTA zip file or again SPFT to upgrade to android 7.0.

Sorry I was small bit confused with your explanation as you mentioned about husband phone etc.
So if your phone is bricked I would recommend flash all partitions so definitely you need skip 6th step.
If doesn't help please use format + download.
Also you can try firstly flash only preloader and after that start flashing again rest of partitions (all together without preloader)
Please test usb wire before flashing.

So ...

No i mentioned his phone because its the same umi super and i did use the flashing tools on my laptop and it worked.
Just saying that flashing isnt working for my phone...
Ill try the stuff you told me today - but i got one question, how do i make sure to flash all partitions? I dont see any partitions....
Also from the list on the rom page is the latest android 6 version the second from top of list?

Each box in SPFT is one partition. So firstly you need uncheck all partitions and check only preloader. Flash preloader and then rest of partitions.

I greatly appreciate your help, I really do.
So let me get this straight before i go and do this because in one of the threads i remember someone said never have the preload checked.
I uncheck all of them and make sure only preloaded is checked like the screen shot attached to this message?

Yes this is correct first step if your phone is bricked. Flash preloader.

Then please check everything else without preloader.

And flash rest of partitions.
Currently latest ROMs including all available tp drivers so no worries about preloader.
