Does anyone know WHEN WILL UMI PLUS E GET ANDROID NOUGAT!!!!. E SHOULD HAVE GOT IT BEFORE THE UMI PLUS!!!!!. ITS MORE EXPENSIVE AND ALOT BETTER!!. when will i get an OTA upgrade for my Umi Plus E?
Please help Umi team. Please tell me when you are releasing an upgrade for the Umi plus E for Nougat. Also, can i flash the umi Plus nougat and will it work on Umi plus E?

The Patience has limits. Or you do not know that. I admire how you can play this role of advocating something that will never have a solution. You must be paid well to be a devil's advocate. Please, You can tell the UMI that she makes mistakes, is incompetent, and lied to customers. Sony has announced in MWC 2017 phones with Helio P20 and will run on Nougat OS, like Sony Xperia XA1 so i think now there is no problem from MTK company.

I have been waiting for the Nougat Update  ...

There is no straight answer.
You bought device from seller and some sellers informing that any updating or upgrading voiding warranty so software updating can't be point to complaining about it.
Still seller is taking responsibility of incorrect informations provided on his page.
Information about updating to android 7 was removed from advertisement way before pre sale so nobody confused customers as in pre sale and after that there was no promising to upgrading umi plus E to next version of firmware.
We spoke about possibilities to upgrade and as we informed engineers tried to do this but as you know so far there is no solution to do this.

I've just noticed the Z1 Pro listed on Umidigi.com. It has the same Mediatek P20 processor, and the same 6GB DDR4, except it's running Android 7.0 Nougat.

Hold on a moment, Umidigi. This is 100% absolute proof that source code and full compatibility with P20+DDR4 is already here. How can you justify further lies to your loyal customers about upgrading the Umi Plus E to Android 7.0?

It is possible - you have already inadvertently confirmed. Where is our promised upgrade?!

i bought umi plus e 2 days ago the phone is good but I have problem with the camera flash light is not working i should replace the phone or there is way to fix it

What people needs to understand, is that we are all, more or less satisfied with the device itsef considering its specs and price.
What we are fighting about is the false advertisment made about this device (camera quality, ID sensor quality, updates...guys, you took our hard earned money cause we trusted your words) and about the fact that we feel cheated. When someone promises you and guarantees you something, you expect him to deliver it in a timely manner. Be it umi responsibility or MTK responsibility is none of our concern. UMI promised something that they are not able to deliver. And what is worse, is that they keep promising things, though they perfectly know they are nowhere close to be able to deliver it. This is what these "complaining" and "pestering" is all about.

Mancini, what do you have to say about this statement of yours? We are already in June and tired of waiting. I at the end of 15 days already had an idea to whom I had bought my UMI Plus E (UMI Store at Aliexpress) and that are:
1st Liars
2nd Do not satisfy the guarantees that the customer pays, I complained and never got answers
3rd Promises update for Android 7 and never appeared.
4. The lack of respect for customers
5th I could say more, but the page would be full and not worth it, it would be like I was writing for the walls because they are not going to do anything, nor the least that is to apologize for deceiving the customer. The word "apologize" does not exist in the Chinese dictionary.

You, who are always defending the UMI, have nothing else to add after this time?

Currently MTK didn't provide to UMI engineers SDK code so android 7.0 is not touched yet.
Umi plus got android 7.0 as was released before umi plus E.
No we not recommending using Android 7.0 from UMI plus to umi plus E as there is different CPU, GPU, and RAM capacity.

Yes. Definitely umi plus E will be getting android 7.0.

Yes you are fully correct but umi engineers didn't get SDK code yet.

Some my phone is going to freeze like hang and restarted. When I tried to attached some images in Gmail app.
Sometimes is become sooo hot. This phone performance is bad than 3gb ram other Android phone.

But RAM is only operating memory and have nothing to do with heat.
I would recommend perform factory reset (you will lose all apps and user data) as definitely some app is constantly running and draining battery and overloading CPU  / GPU.
Or simply reboot phone but go to power off and on
Also there could be some error in Gmail app. Please check for apps updates.

SDK provided by MTK is not supporting DDR4 6GB memory which is in umi plus E. We still waiting for solution.
