My Umi Z  with the original charger and cable, after the last update charge in 4 hour.....
It's impossible to preserve the battery with this think.

Anyone else have this issue?

Umi support please answer because i'm seriously thinking to give back my phone.

My one is charging fast with original charger and cable.
--> some chargers are bad or the cables.
What is Aida64 telling you about the charging current
Sometimes it helps to turn off the UMI completly take out the SIMs and wait 10 minutes ---> insert SIMs and turn on again.

Yes i know.....but before the latest update, the same charger was OK and was Ok the same cable.
There is another issue with lastes update: charge the phone shutted down, and when it's fullt charged, remove the cable: the green light and the screen with battery image at 100% remain up until you turn on the phone.

For the charging time, you think that removing the sim is the key? How this work?

Thx.

I don't know, how this works, but I think the SIM-slot has a switch that notice if something it put in or not..
That is the most possible shutdown, that you can do, without disassembling the phone.
That fixed already on my OnePlus One bootloops :-)

AIDA64 say that the battery is charging with a current of 596mA...

that is really not ok,
the fast charge takes up to 10minutes until it is established again, to charge with 2000mA again.
otherwise a complete factory reset can maybe help.
