Issue with screen rotation

Hi guys, I don't know what happened but all of a sudden my screen goes in vertical mode when holding horizontal,
for example my gmail app. Not my start screen, only when I open apps.
It happens with more apps, when I open them my screen goes horizontal on me when holding the phone vertical.
Meaning I had to switch off the automatic rotation, but then I can not use the horizontal holding of my phone.
Help please?!

Please update your phone using FOTA, OTA zip, or SPFT

Also you can reboot your device and perform factory reset if needed.

Issue resolved after I did the wireless update.

I am facing the same issue after the latest update
I have to reboot the phone each time this happens

Did you perform factory reset after update?

HELP!!!

Issue returned after last wireless update I did 21st of March 2017.
This is frustrating!

All suggestions welcome.

I have the same issue, but i do not want to do a factory reset.

So probably easiest way to fix this issue will be use SPFT and flash to older ROM.Here is SPFT instruction

If you don't want lose user data please uncheck user data partition on SPFT.

Happended to me after the newest update (20170317), too.
But I did a factory reset. So seems to be a problem with the newest update.
It didn't occur since yesterday when I restarted the phone though. So let's hope it doesn't show up anymore.

I tried a cold restart and now everything works fine again.
