My first post here. Just got my MAX this morning, made it charging without SIM cards, installed all my previous apps and all was fine.
Was fine until I stopped it to install the SIMS and wanting to restart it. But it doesn't. Pressing the POWER button makes nothing.
Please, is it already dead or can I do something special to make it starting again ? Many thanks
OK. Just tried SPFT with two ROMS (the first one available and the latest one) but without success. It seems the mobile doesn't receive any touch information. I did a format too...
I think it is dead even if when plugged it shows the red notification for about 5 seconds.

You have so strange explanation as you saying that phone is dead but you thinking that phone is not responding touches. So is dead or not?
I would try use SPFT with changed firmware upgrade option to format + download.
Please follow this instruction but please skip 6th step as you need overwrite all partitions http://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=11
After that probably you will lose IMEI numbers but you can follow this instruction http://community.umidigi.com/thread-1375-1-1.html
Don't forget that you always can and should contact seller for warranty.

What I meant is that the phone does not get the on/off button.
I return the mobile for an exchange.
