my fingerprint scanner on my umi z doesnt work most of the time i have to press several times for it to unlock.It works best on my left thumb but i have to press at least twice every time. the other finger almost never work.
does anybody have the same problem or a fix for this problem?

Have tou tried to enter the same finger more times ? you can do uo to 5 i think, if you have same finger 2 times, then some sort of logic dictate that one or the other "key" will unlock

I know not the 100% way to do things, but it would not hurt to try.

You have to touch the Fingerring very short, then it will work well.

Hi, I have done the same observations. Only after the second Touch in Fingerring, the mobile phone is unlocked.

I got several Problems to unlock my Bank App and my PayPal App. Both of them can unlock via Fingprint, but Not with my Umi z. Maybe you hab the same issue?

Same here, a minimum of 2 touches are needed to unlock the phone

From 1 to 3 tries for me. It's random and a little bit annyoing indeed.

I have the same problem, seems like software problem which they will need to fix in next version.

Guys please fix ASAP, it seems like this phone was released without any proper QA which is quite disturbing.
These kind of basic tests should be tested in the company labs before the release of the product.

My Wifi got disconnected after every 10 seconds or so. I followed suggestion here to restore factory settings. Sofar its working OK now.
Other problem is fingerprint scanner, I feel the vibration when I touch the scanner but no action till it says "Too many attempts" then I have to swipe up to enter the pattern.
This is very annoying. Can you only use the finger that is used for the fingerprint setup or other fingers too?

Is there a way to change the font?
Can't find it.

Does someone know if an installed tempered glass protector can be re-installed?
Bubbles are not dissapearing.
How to activate fast charging?

Fingerprint scanner works badly. I can use it for 4-5 hours quite perfectly, then it stops pressing, so that I don't feel vibration & can't unlock the screen. But I still feel vibration of "back" button at the same time. Manipulations like rebooting & turning on/off virtual buttons sometimes (!) help, but not each time.
