Hi BB and Everyone!

There are a few of us having issues flashing TWRP onto our PLUS's with the latest 20161228_c239v55_kw_u3 installed. It appears that the bootloader stays locked and after a successful flash of TWRP with OEM Unlock and USB debugging active, the first boot attempt after flash is into recovery. The device shows the UMI logo, then reboots and starts up the Android OS. A further attempt to boot into recovery after this, shows only the stock recovery and that the stock fallen over android and "No Command" shows. TWRP failed to stick.

There is a lot more info on what we have tried on the XDA thread below.
https://forum.xda-developers.com ... -cwm-t3385733/page7
There are more pages past page 7 where the issues have attempted to be resolved with no success.

It appears that there was an update from Android 6(M) to the Android 7(N) which has locked the boot loader permanently on some devices.
Any help would be appreciate.

Hi Rootjoy is no more supporting new devices so don't try. You can use SPFT.
