I have had the Umi Plus E for almost a week, after day two of use when displaying a black background I noticed a load of stuck pixels, some more noticeable than others, randomly scattered on the screen, they are definetely not dead pixels as I have done some research and understand the difference between the two however I am wondering if I should be concerned about having stuck pixels on the screen, are they prone to spread, will they worsen over time? I was hoping they will fix themselves giving the beenfit of the doubt due to being a new smartphone but I have not seen any improvements.

Could someone provide any reccommendations as to how to fix the stuck pixels, I have tried the following being
http://www.jscreenfix.com & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjdrMuKpaCI which hasnt seemed to work and I am currently attempting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2eQhhMvi-U to see if there are any improvements.

It is something I can live with but if stuck pixels are prone to worsen I guess I will have no other choice to get a replacement.

I got my phone replaced, and the second phone got dead pixels as well... The pixels are so small so they are hard to recognize.

I have come across this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PX_Mzf1YbM but I am not too sure how or why this method would actually work

I have taken a picture and short video due to the stuck pixels will not show when taking a screenshot/video from my own device. To the naked eye there are more small green, red and blue dots which the alternative smartphone could not focus on.

No I have not preformed a factory reset and I already have the latest software through OTA update

Should I continue to perform a factory reset and update again OTA?

No I have not preformed a factory reset and I already hav ...

Firstly you can perform factory reset (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset)  if this not help then you should flash your phone with SPFT to wipe completely old system and write new with drivers etc. You can get ROM, SPFT and driver from here
http://community.umidigi.com/for ... thread&tid=5935
And here you have basic informations about SPFT updating procedure

FOTA update is just repairing patch so if you have error on driver etc this will not help.
