Edited by Raspel at 2016-12-30 03:26 \n\nWTF is this!?!
Half year old phone and batttery is going crazy.
I have ROM 20160810 /because my UMI can´t install OTA update and I can´t make it thruSPFT/

I tried Battery Calibration without effect.

I hate UMI.

It does not change the fact that this is true..

To troll all the threads you can find just because you had a bad experience doesn't help anyone.
I get it, its dissapointing when things break or stop working. Next time spend a few hunder dollars/euros more and buy a flashship from one of the bigger brands.

Hello! I  ...

Hi
Yes you can use this charger. Only different is that charging time increase up to 5.5 hours.
I don't see to be there any problem with your battery. You need charge your phone few times from 1% to 100 % to format battery capacity. Be honest to you I don't think that you should use any slow charger for now. Some people could say that this batteries are li-ion-polim so no need to be formatting but by my experience every battery needs to be charged from 1 to 100% sometime to correct system informations and "stretch" battery.

Hi Marcin,
First, I mostly use PC / NTB for charging at work /QUICK changer only at home/.

Hi So if you using pc/ntb I presume that you never charge to full from very low battery level as full charging circuit should take up to 8 hours. Long holding phone under constant low current flow is damaging battery too as battery is always on highest battery voltage which is maximum charging voltage but not normal operating voltage level. A lot people making this mistake due to using phones as GPS unit/navigation holding phone under constant charging and damaging battery.

As I see you can have about half charge after more than one day based on the last picture you attached.
Sometimes there are big drops, you might need to check those activities.
I have a brand new UMi Super, but I can tell you, if I do not check the phone all the time, but listen to let's say Spotify for about two hours via bluetooth on my car audio system, then it gets drained quicker. I charged it to 100% after getting to bed and getting up in the morning today, but when I had a "full" day use at work, then a ~100km trip with music, it is now at 35%.
Not sure if it is normal or not, but in my case I have even worse values than you show on your chart.

I get 5 hours screen time on my umi. Try to flash it to the latest rom. Something is wrong with your umi (hardware and/or software).

Hi
Firstly I wish advice you to use any slow charger 5V 1A to charge you phone from 1 or 0 % to 100%. As I presume you using only quick charger this wearing battery very quickly and sometimes you should use slow charger to "stretch" battery.
This should take around 4 hours and battery temperature shouldn't excess 30°C.
If you want you can contact to reseller for warranty.
Every umi super should get FOTA update without any issues.
If you are not familiar to using SPFT you can use OTA zip file from this link, make sure you battery is fully charged. If your updating fail please perform firstly factory reset settings - backup and reset - factory data reset
http://community.umidigi.com/thread-4818-1-1.html
And after update use another from this link
http://community.umidigi.com/thread-5060-1-1.html
Here is instruction for update
Manual (local) OTA update method instructions
1. Copy the downloaded .zip file to either the internal memory or the SD card of your phone
2. Go to Settings --> About phone --> Wireless update
3. Tap the 3-dot menu button at the top right corner and select Local updates
4. Brows for the ...update.zip file and select it
5. Tap Install now, comfirm the process with OK and wait until the process will be finished

Always charge the battery to full.

Trust me, it's not my first phone I know how should I treat him.
The truth is that UMI has a large percentage of reject quota - we have two in the family and everyone has different bugs.

Half charge after day is not problem.
Problem is that the phone is shutting down when the battery "has" 25% - 50% without warning.
See the attached pictures again - end of graphs.

Hello everyone.
Unfortunately I must say that I have the same problem.
After six months of normal use without any problem with the battery life of nearly two days in the last few weeks and especially this last week the device without any special reason goes out by itself in almost 50% of the battery and can run without connecting the charger and then shows the value of the battery from 0% .After charge of approximately 1-1.5 hours again shows 100% battery charge, which then takes maybe 12 hours of standby time.
I tried to calibrate the battery but did not give any results.

Unfortunately, the other device that we have in the house, (UMI rome), which was purchased a year ago the same problems, will be put out in the state of the battery of 78%.

Obviously bad thing installed batteries.
