Hello guys from Umi!!
All we are about a SERIOUS DELAY of delivering the Umi Plus E, promised to send at December 10, for those who payed their devices at November 20 - the day of promotion (mine is paied at the same day - 2016.11.20).
In the reality NO ONE has already received its item. The proove that no one received, that not a single bloger had made a video of unpacking of the Plus-E, even the ones, who are "close friends" of Umi.
Obviously there are problems of manufacturing, and the device is not ready.
Umi MUST clear the situation. Consumers MUST know the truth. All we, had GIVE MONEY, and REQUIRE the truth, not promises of sellers (mine is Umi Digi from Aliexpress).

For me it is the same situation. I got from UMIDIGI tracking number, but so far no shipments  in Singapore Post system. (By the way, it was to be the NL post). But in UMI is a normal situation, are busy the new model Z , so not thinking already about the old model. Best regards and wish you a lot of patience.

Hi,
Some corrections:

1. Shipping to the retailers from 10th December was announced, not to ship to all buyers on the same day. That's true, finally the shipping was started with about 1.5 days of delay, on 12th December. We are sorry for it but such delays can happen even at the greatest manufacturers due to unforeseen difficulties.
2. The pre-sales officially started on 23rd November.
3. A lot of buyers have received their pre-ordered UMi Plus E phones already. Customers paid for express shipping are usually handled with priority.
4. Not many but there are some unboxing reviews already available on YouTube, just search for them.
5. No problem with the manufacturing but the factory cannot increase its production capacity to a multiple times higher level to quickly supply a much higher than average amount of orders at the beginning.

So while I'm really sorry for your long time waiting, I ask you to be a bit more patient. Your order will be processed. On the other hand, you may cancel your order and request a full refund anytime if you can't wait anymore. Nobody wants to keep your money for nothing but pre-sales always carry such risks of delay.

thats a big liar.. how you can be an administrator, if u cant explain a costumer with clearly..

that exactly about SERIOUS DELAY.. and i have message to about the delay.. so bullshit if unboxing video on youtube from costumer.. give me a proff!! not a bulshit u searching in youtube.. link pleaseeeee.....!!

so what happened with this case?? why is so late?? your boss(umi company) promise shipping about 10 DEC,, and right now is about 25 Dec... helooooo?? can u explain this..

In all fairness I messaged Umidigi via facebook on the 9th December and asked them when they were going to be "...delivering stock to their licensed shops in order for them to deliver to their customers", as I had the understanding that Umi themselves would not be directly involved in any orders made and the method including time scale in which they would be shipped to customers.

They did make it clear and stated "....We are going to start to ship the first handsets to our retailers on 10th December. However, that might need several days or maybe more than a week to process all pre-orders...."

I brought the Umi Plus E via Banggood on the 23rd November and it got shipped on the 20th December via Air Parcel Register which is stated to take between 7-20 business days.

I am aware that Banggood are currently out of stock due to the first batch delivered to them was exhausted quite quickly, I was just fortunate to be one of the few to have the item shipped. Banggood first made this clear to the numerous customers who are also concerned about their purchase on the 20th December which they have said "... It is estimated that there will be a new stock of UMI Plus E next week..." so therefore one can fairly assume they will receive a new batch on 26th/27th December unless Banggood havent taken into consideration the additional time it will take Umi to delivery the new stock.

There is not much that can be done. Umi can only work as fast as their factory can handle to deliver units to the numerous licensed stores as I assume they are currently in the same situation as Banggood but of course they have to work to a reasonable speed without it effecting the quality of the device.

I gave up I also thought we would get it before the end of December in the UK but not even dispatched so I cancelled my order and requested a full refund probably just wait now for the z
