WiFi Switch Problem

I've already sent one UMI Max back to the seller because it stopped registering the charger being plugged in unless it was switched off or had just been restarted. The second device has now started having problems after a few days...
The wifi switch (in both settings and quick settings) turns WiFi on for a minisecond and it then gets switched off straight away most of the time. I have checked through settings and apps and battery saving mode and the problem is still recuring. Again, after switiching off the device it seems to turn on more often than otherwise, but once it's turned off it's a struggle to turn back on. I've also factory reset the device. It's not the biggest problem in the world in that I can just leave WiFi on all the time, but my worry is that if after using the previous device for about 10 days and this replacement device for 3, I  have these problems, then what more problems might come up in the future.
Has anyone else had similar problems?

I've now found the issue is with the latest android wear update and many people are experiencing this issue, so I've uninstalled android wear for now, and WiFi switch is working fine again.
