"Failure to initialize" error popup

Hello,
I am experiencing this issue: for any game I tried to install (from official Play Store!) on my brand new UMI Plus phone, I get this error popup (attached for your convenience). I read on this forum that also other owners experienced this issue with other UMI phones. The full message reads:

Failure to initialize!
Your hardware does not support this application, sorry!

How can this be? Is there any official solution or workaround?I'm getting frustrated and nervous about this.
