Umi Plus fingerprint Sensor

I was so excited to receivemy Umi Plus yesterday, and as soon as I got in my hands I started testing thefeatures. However, I realised the fingerprint sensor does not work or recognisewhen I wanted to set up the fingerprint lock.

I have tried in many occasions,but it does not show a percentage like other devices when you put on the fingeron the fingerprint sensor.

I do not know what to do,but I might have to ask a replacement, but I would like to know if anyone havethe same issue.

Thanks for your reply. Mine does not move or fill the area, I think there is a problem with the software. I tried many times, but no luck.

I've been having the same issue after the recent update (v3.02_20161017). Wonder if this is a software issue.

I don't know if the problem is a software or hardware, but my current version is (v3.02_20161010). I've emailed them and they give me 3 options to try. Those are 3 options
1> Clear the cached data in Settings --> Storage & USB --> Internal storage.
2> Process a factory data reset in Settings --> Backup & reset.
3> Flash the updated ROM with SP Flash Tool. Link: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-4942-1-1.html
I have already tried the first 2 options, and no success but I don't want to try the last one and lose my warranty. I want to get a replacement because I haven't seen many people having the same issue.

\n\nI checked my phone. When I did the initial finerprint setup I saw a rounded progress, but if I set up more fingers now, the progress is gone. I'm using the latest update v3.0.1_20161009
I've flashed the ROM wit SP Tools - I guess you can skip that step.

And no matter what security lock I've set (PIN/pattern/fingerprint), I can always unlock my phone by swiping
