Phone does not boot after the battery ran off.

Hi,

I have a new UMI-Touch phone I'm very happy with.
This morning, the battery has ran completely out and the phone turned off.
After recharging, the phone didn't turned on.

If I press the "power button" + the "volume up", I can see after a few seconds, a text menu. I tried all menu option, one by one, and the phone still doesn't boot.
Please HELP!

The is the menu I get:

"Select Boot Mode:
[VOLUME_UP to select. VOLUME_DOWN is OK.]

Let the phone have some time, could be a week before you try to turn it on.

Did you try a Volume Down click with [Normal Boot] selected? That should boot the phone. That's all I can offer if pushing the power button doesn't boot it. If the charge screen is showing fully charged it "should" boot without dramas. My Touch takes a long time to fully charge from a discharged battery but more like a few hours rather than a week. Please post the result in case other people have the same trouble.

This is not a charging issue. When pressing the volume up + power, the phone start is rescue mode. None of the option in this menu works.

Nothing happens in Rescue Mode when you push the Volume - button?

When I select any of the options (using Volume down button) the screen turns black and nothing else happens. After waiting for a while, if I try to turn on the phone again (pressing the power button) nothing happens, and the only thing I can do is press the volume up + power to get to the same menu. Same thing happen with each and every choice I make, over and over again...

having exactly same problem....exactly the same! everything you have said is what has happened to mine no different. only had four months.
