Android Nougat

Hello, I'm not here to complain about the missing ROMs on the UMI Touch.
I just wanna know, do you plan on releasing Android Nougat as soon as it get released officially ?
Many different others brands plan to release it like Samsung will do.
Can you plan on doing it ? It will reduce the sadness Touch phones are seen as.
The must have would be the multi task and the fact it will run with less lags.

I am afraid that the abscence of an answer is the answer... No more ROM updates on MM sofar (although running fine for me except for a totally unacceptable camera quality), no Windows 10 rom although used as the sales argument... So something really new like Nougat...? I dont think this is going to happen.
But please remember we bought a budget Phone... what can we expect for future support?
I do wish that the quality of the camera would have been better to make the product whole.
I promoted the super to 2 people and they bought is and also there the camera is bad. In a different way then on the touch but still...

Except if somone ports the ROM of a future UMi to the UMi Touch, we will never have Android N.

Hello, sorry for late, I didn't expect to be answered by anybody.
You are both true, we will never have an official rom by UMI. UMI super already received its 3rd ota meaning users can download 4 ROMs.
UMI touch has also 3rd ota received meaning users can download 4 ROMs.
Why they forgot us ? Because they wanted to be known as "cheap phones". Otherwise they don't care about buyers.
No liars, I sent many and many mails to support@91umi.com and pm to UMIadmin no answers anymore since 1 month or 2 maybe.
Continuing like this will destroy the brand. I hope for them they will stay 1 more year from now.

You are false. Take a look on this example : XIAOMI. ALL I said ALL of their phones receive support and updates, none are forgotten. And all of them are cheap very cheap

UMI was created to make money.
I heard JIAYU and UMI had the same owner. I don't know if it's true, but if it is, you will see I am right. Jiayu is now a dead brand and even if UMI has no relation with Jiayu, they will finish as the same as Jiayu.

I think we are both right. I was trying to nuance that indeed this is a risk with the cheap phones. You are right, other brands do keep supporting and understand that if you have customer centricity you will not be a one day fly... If you want to make money of your first models as being a newcomer in a saturated market...

I keep my hopes up for Umi but all indicators are not for giving much hope...

Some alternate ROMs here including CM13 which works OK. http://www.needrom.com/category/umi/umi-touch/
I must have one of the few UMi Touch phones that works properly. I had a few difficulties when it was new but reflashing the standard ROM cured them. Camera in mine is very good, fingerprint unlock works well except my skin is too old to give a consistently readable fingerprints. The GPS is the only weak point losing contact with the satellites sometimes. Maybe somebody will port Android N to the Touch but remember it doesn't have a very big customer base to make the work worthwhile for an enthusiast.
