Is Umidigi S2 pro worth buying? A short list of pros and cons

After some weeks of using the S2 Pro as daily driver here a short list of pro and cons for people who want to know if the S2 Pro is good enough for 300$/250€

Good: the phone has decent design, looks very premium and is an eyecatcher, hardware: the screen is very god, the audiosound is very good, there is 95 Gbyte ROM free, there is quite big battery

Not good: too many issues with the software due to the bad UmiOS-System. The system feels slow and oldschool looking, even 99$-phone are much faster and have a more modern looking OS with more features, there are some bloat ware and at least one trojan on board, its not planned to produce much OTA, as the company is too small, the inoffical ROMs are not to recommend. The camera is nov very good.

So from the hardware its for 300$ a lot you get, but the software is very bad. Its still a decent phone, but I guess for 300$ you will get something better.
If they would change the OS and make it faster and more modern, the phone might be more satisfying.
But unfortunately is there nobody out there who produces some alternative ROMs....

This is a decent phone, but the OS is just terrible, trash. Look I also made a thread talking about it.

Ive seen so many reviews and other threads, nobody likes the OS and here the moderators insist with unofficial roms and as you said, there not to recommend.
I really hope Umi listen to all of this complains because its true, if theres no update for the OS, for $300 you can get much better phone.

I flashed the unofficial and it works fine. Now, with a custom launcher (Nova), it's cool looking.
For a cheap phone with this size battery I'm pretty satisfied.
