MacinP, you are perfectly right. There is no need to constantly repeat the same thing.
This is why 90% (including me) of people complaining and feeling cheated here will be fine with a single official statement from Umidigi, saying something like "OK guys, we failed, we thought it was possible but no, we re not gonna make it."
I mean, don't take us for naive or stupid. We easily came up to at least 10 (good) reasons why umidigi will never upgrade this device. [I personnaly add to this the fact that, as a business centre and considering your business strategy (which is not an appreciation at all), it would be a large mistake to allocate any ressource to it.]
We have plenty of reason to think that your engineers were perfectly aware of this device not being upgradable long time ago. Maybe from the very beginning. But you gave us false hopes. Official statement were for monthes "Yes, we are working on it, Plus E will definitely receive 7.0". YOU MarcinP, YOU said it. Don't pretend it's wrong. Then official statement became "We will upgrade it if possible". Then "We are trying to find a solution". Then "well it seems some kind of hardware is not compatible". Then you went "Wait, no this is another hardware that is not compatible". Come on dude !
Option 1: You knew it from the beginning: then why on earth did you make us wait for so long to communicate and let us know what was going on ? Why giving us false hopes ? This is why we are feeling cheated.
Option 2: you did not know it. Then UMIdigi pre-sale and pre-production tests and hardware checking has been lacking the adequate required attention and skills. And you kept us waiting and hoping for something that you said would come, but without having any clue how to do it. Which is disgusting.
And don't even think of blaming MTK for whatever reason. You chose the hardware. You are responsible for it.
