I subscribed to the Giveaway and the 9.99$ Competititon. After that I got an Email from umidigi@mail.ru.
In the Email they said I have to send money over WebMoney to a purse which was in the Email.
I thought umidigi are using their own Email Server. For Example: umidigi@umidigi.com
I think the only way to find out is to send the money and hope the best.
10$ is not so much.
I received the same email and would like to know if this is legitimate as the email comes from a Russian email account. Can someone answer this for me as well.
You would think UMI would use Paypal or some other form of payment.
It's a fake email used for cheating. DO NOT SEND MONEY REQUESTED BY THAT EMAIL!
All official UMIDIGI email addresses are based on the 91umi.com domain (for example my email address is ben@91umi.com) as you can see it on the contact page here: http://www.umidigi.com/page-contact.html
We never use free email services like mail.ru for official communication.
As stupid as I was, I did paid money to them.
I am feeling so dump and stupid now...
But I knew this before and I thought: If this is real I will hate myself to not paid him.
I am not poor so it is not so bad for me.
My biggest worry is, that he will abuse my Address now...
No one can be more stupid as I was
But when the 99$ Umididi Crystal will coming out I will buy this and hope that I will not scammed again.

They probably sent that message to millions of email addresses and your one was just a "lucky" hit.
The Crystal project has been postponed but it will be released this summer.
