Hi all!

Hope someone can answer this ... everything is working fine for me except for MMS. I can't download or send.

I've checked the APN and it's correct according to the carrier, and no apps are changing it ...

Mobile data is fine and works for both email and browsing.

I've tried both Messenger 6.0.1 and Textra with the same result.

The only suspiciion I have (assuming the phone software/hardware is working ) is that maybe having my SIM card in slot 2 can cause the problem.

I have an SD memory card in slot 1 as it doesn't seem to fit in slot 2.

The same SIM with the same carrier were working fine on my old (single SIM) phone.

Any ideas?

By my opinion you have correct APN for data but missing or incorrect APN for MMS.
Please check on caries page for correct settings or copy settings from other phone.
If still not working please perform factory reset (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset) and try again.

Hello MarcinP
I've the same problem with 2 sim cards and 4G.
Both are working properly on other phones (elephone P8000, LG ...)
With my Umi plus E, one off them is Ok (slot 1 or 2) but with the second one I can't have 4G (even with slot 1). The APN seems to be good.
(last Umi Ram)
May be I'll have to perform factory reset but ... if I do that, what about my datas and all the apps i've installed? Will they be lost? will i have to reinstall all my apps?
Thanks

Hi MarcinP,
I've nearly the same problem but with 4G.
I've 2 sim cards. Both are working properly with other phones (elephone P8000 ..).
With my Umi Plus E, it's Ok with one off this sim card (slot 1 or 2). But with the second one, I can't get 4G (slot 1 or 2).
The APN off my carrier (orange) seems to be OK. I've installed las umi Ram.
I Wonder i performing factory rest will solve my problem but ... i've installed quite a lot of apps and have some datas. If I perform factory rest, will these apps and datas been deleted? Will i have to reinstall them?
Thanks

Hi
If I understand correctly you expect both sim cards working in 4G in same time.
If you follow phone specifications you will understand that the umi-plus-e with Android 6.0 support one sim with 4G and other in 2G.
Probably in android 7.0 one will be in 4G and other 3G.

Hi MarcinP
I know that it's not possible having 3 sim cards working at the same time with 4G.
In fact, with my Umi Plus E, one of my sim cards is working properly with 4 G (etheir in slot 1 or 2). But with the other one; it's impossible to have 4G (slot 1 or 2) .
The apn seems to be the good one.
I don't know what to do: a factory reset (but what about the apps i've installed? about my datas?) ... wait for Nougat ...?
Thanks for your help

In fac ...

Of course you can wait for Nougat but if there will be no delay you will get around summer time. (by mistake I said end of April but this date is for Umi Z and Umidigi Z pro)
You can perform connection factory reset (settings - backup and reset - network settings reset)
Also you can open dialer and type in *#*#4636#*#*, you will be transferred to testing page - phone information - top right three dots - select radio band - and try one by one. (USA bands is no working).
