BATTERY DRAIN

Hello

i am hoping this forum will help me get to the bottom of this issue - i dont know if its just bad luck or since installing these OTA updates that my battery is playing up.

the battery can be at any percentage really and then suddenly power off. i need to plug in my charger to get it going again.

i have factory resetted the phone with no joy.

are UMI aware of this?
is there a known solution?

really appreciate any information.

having looked through the forum and now checking my phone i can see that the battery is swollen.

i have contacted the aliexpress seller as that should be covered under warranty.

hopefully they will deal with this properly

are these battery drain issues a result of swollen batteries?
i just found it strange that this started happening after OTA android 7 - and also appears to be the case for other users too.
