Edited by Aralas at 2018-1-8 02:10 \n\nHi all,

EDIT : I found a permanent fix and did a tutoriel here --> http://community.umidigi.com/thread-15973-1-2.html

I had a lot of problem with bluetooth. Indeed, I wasn't able to pair with my car and my Xiaomi mi band 2.

This solution worked for me and do not need root (my phone is in French. So, sorry if it's a little different):

1) Parameter
2) Application
3) Tap on the three dots (right and top the screen)
4) "Show system process" (thing like this)
5) Tap on "Bluetooth share" or "Bluetooth Shared" (In french, it's "partage Bluetooth)
6) Tap on "storage"
7) Delete data & clear cache

... That's all !

If it worked for you, thanks to tell it to everyone with responding

Edited by KARO at 2017-3-4 03:26 \n\nHi!

Thanks "Aralas" for the tip. I've tried your solution, and it also worked on my problems. Not 100%, but after trying several times it's now working. The Bluetooth software is obviously not working stabile 100% on this Umi phone, as we can see on other comments on this forum. Anyways; this helped me and hopefully it can help others. Spread the word!

So to UMI and their attempt to increase in market shares. The first thing you should do is to take all the members in this forum, that uses their time and write about their problems and thoughts, seriously! You are good in prising of your products, but that is not enough, if you want to sell more products and "take the world"!  Nether is releasing new models all the time. Take care of the "early birds" that supports you, and start with doing that from NOW!

"Aralas" solution in the "Bluetooth" problem is an example on what I would expect to have come as a quick replay from UMI.

Umi, wishes you all the best . (Maybe you read this?)

Thanks for your help.

Maybe I am a leak on this, but where can I locate the parameters of my phone?

When you see all your installed applications, you have "Parameter". The name "parameter" is probably translated in your language.

The icon look like this (but not exactly) :

I also have the same problem everyday. After clearing the application data the bluetooth works with my car, but I have to do the clear and pair everytime i have to connect the phone to the car.

Moreover it seems to be impossible to use the bt calls and android auto at the same time (my previous phones did not have any issues for that...).

And, finally, bt configuration is not the only one getting messed up. If I use the "do not disturb" mode, the phone loses also the configuration for ringtone and messages sound.

Definitely a bad software.

Yes, the software is bad.

But actually, the UmiDigi Plus E of my wife is working with her car since 3 months thanks to this tip. Unfortunately, it's not a definitive fix but if you have to do that everyday, I understand your position :-/

Hi guys,

Firstable, this solution has been tested on UMI PLUS E .

I had the hypothesis that a previous update may break the bluetooth protocol.

In order to verify this theory, I decided to erase all the phone thanks to this tutorial : http://community.umidigi.com/thread-11232-1-1.html . Actually, doing this make a "clean install" of the rom and not a "dirty flash" like we are doing with the traditional update by the Wi-Fi.

10 days later, I can confirm that the bluetooth is finally working. Indeed, the car can pair the phone without any problem & the Xiaomi mi band 2 can vibrate by bluetooth, too.

I'm not a developper ! So if you want to do the same thing, take care because I'll be not able to help you.

There is maybe a easier solution : make a "factory reset". This is waaaay easier to do and maybe it's working, too ! But I have not tested it, so if you do, thanks to come back and tell us the result

WARNING !!! ==> The 2 solutions that I mentioned will erase ALL you data ! So make a backup of everything (picture, camera, sms, calls, contacts, etc.)
