notifications when screen is locked?

Hello, I am having a problem with the UMI Plus E. Notifications won't show up when the screen is locked. I tried with battery and app settings: no luck, maybe I missed something, don't know

Any guiding light as to how to tackle this issue?

Try this :
Settings > Sound & notification > Notification > When device is locked

Thanks for replying, but no luck. It's already set that way.

I also read that some people indicted such prob could take place when phone is connected via wifi. I tried using both wifi and mobile data. In either connections, nothing.

I think I solved it. Hard reset the device, now it's working fine. So the cause must have been (my) messing around with settings.:S

Thankfully there weren't too many apps on it, since it hasn't been with me for long.

I'm happy you did it! Most of the problems of the Plus E are solving with the hard reset

I have a Umi Plus E... but i'm very disappointed
I don't receive notifications of apps like whatsapp, facebook etc. on my screen... except for gmail.
Can you please help me out

Firstly you need check every app settings.
Next you need check for background tasks clear (settings - background tasks clear) if you have activated you need add such apps to white list.
Another is to go too settings - sound and notification - notification - when device is locked and also app notifications

Hellooo,

I have another problem with my Umi Plus E.
When I receive a phone call...sometimes I can't hear the caller clear.
The sound is like vibrating...and after a while it's clear again.

What solution do have for this?

I suspecting that you have poor signal or phone is trying change bands due to weak signal.
