There is not any answer yet as UMI haven't given any.
Some of us are faced on the same issue and would be highly appreciated if somebody inform us what's going next.
Mine needs more than three hours from 10% to 100% that isn't the meaning of quick charging. This happened the third time i tried to charge it. Also "fast charging" message has been disappeared.
Please somebody of UMI to help to resolve this issue.

this is a serious issue, I got this phone for my little bro, when it arrived I used it for couple of dayz, while charging it with my Lumia 950XL charger, I never had any problem as it charges to 100% within few 1:30hrs, after sending the phone over to him, my bro just rang me that the fast charging is slow I mean 66% in 4 hours... Umi needs to say something about this.
For other guys I would advice you to update your device to latest available ROM from here http://community.umidigi.com/forum-128-1.html
You can use OTA or SPFT.
If problem still existing please perform factory reset (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset)

i have already done as you suggested but the problem persists.
Next step for me is, to flash the phone to its previous ROM that came with,using SPTF method.
I have used only UMI's charger and cable.
I hope this time will solve this issue.

At the first two times of charging appeard this"fast charging" on the place where now is showing only "charging".
It was the reason to estimate the charging time.
Last time my plus e needed 2 hrs 50mins using BASTEC cable from 0% to 100% and more than 3hrs using umi's cable from 10%to 100%.
It will be very helpful if somebody of UMI can tell what should be the proper/average estimated time of the fast charging to have a reference point

Basically phone should be fully charged from 1% in 1h 40 min up to max 2H without: using phone, data connection, screen on, Wi-Fi on, calling, etc. And phone needs to be on before plug in charger (it's mean don't discharge your battery to 0% and don't let phone switch off due to lack of "juice") .
You can download from play store 3c battery monitor to check what voltage and current flow you have during charging.
Please provide some information about results.
I also happened to this problem with slow loading. It turned out that the cable badly contacted with usb socket. Unfortunately, the phone has a bad design of this USB socket.
