Dear Umi team,

i wanna ask you. I have umi plus e, i update my mobile V3.01_20161227 OTA . But i have problem with my wifi.


When i switch off my mobile, my wifi is everytime off, or frozen wifi and wifi signal is weak .I have also switched to 2,4 GHz. I must swtich off and on my mobile.


And my second problem is with 3G/4G signal. I living now in UK, and my signal is very weak or falls out signal.


Can you help me please.

Of course if your device improved already you should wait for next update as hopefully there will be another improvement for your device.
Maybe you have battery saving mode activated and is blocking your WiFi. Please look on batter saving mode, background task clear. You can deactivate all this future setting and test then

Got the same error with wifi, wipe device didn't resolve my Problem, it appears again, reboot is not an Option for me, i am now in 3G instead wifi when i am at home. This sucks... I already performed full flash of Rom, but this ist really helpfully...

Marcin p. Can u help me and write back?  Becouse i dont know how to i continue to use the phone with this problem.. I restarting router, i have new update i restarting mobile..thank you.

Hi
To fix wi-fi you need firstly disconnect all devices and restart your router.
Then check is everything working as could be there complication with IP or MAC address between two or more devices.
You can check setting of WiFi (settings - wi-fi - three dots on top right corner - advanced - keep wi-fi on during - always)
You can check battery saving modes please change to my mode.
About 3g please check band mode.
Please type in to dialer *#*#4636#*#*  you will be transferred to information/testing mode - phone information - top right three dots - select radio band - please try different options as some users used AUS and AUS 2 and signal reception improve. There is no point trying USA as this option will not work.
Before all this you can go to settings - more - mobile networks - network operators - find from list which you like to connect. If your signal will be fine then you can choose automatically

Firstly please switch off (disconnect) all wi-fi devices connected to this router (laptops, phones, etc)
Please restart router.
Then connect only one phone which wouldn't work.
Please check your Internet connection
Then start adding one by one devices to find which one is Colliding.
You can go to settings - about phone - status and compare IP and WiFi MAC address.

Hi Marcin,  i was trying to fix. I don't restart router, but only i go to *#*#4636#*#*  , and i changed to AUS 2 . My mobile now Okey, i have better good signal, wifi is better but i dont know how long. But mobile my girlfriend, wifi better, better signal, no frozen signal wifi. But ... now is problem with SMS , Can not send sms .We try more time and nothing, When i send sms , coming me only exclamation mark . I dont understant why we have problem with this mobile, I believe in the fact that it is the right choice phone, becouse i have two mobile umi E .  Thank you for helping Marcin.

after one hour approximately, my wi-fi-connection gets lost. i am with a friend now and followed every step of marcinP, but this didn't help. i am on the latest software version and the only help is restarting phone.

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS

If you have problems with texts now you can change to different radio band and try as maybe this band is not fully supported. You can choose auto or Europe etc

Did you try older ROM?
If you know how to use SPFT you can try older ROM from here
