Hello, i just changed the TWRP version of the UMI Plus to make it compatible with the UMI Plus E, this is the big hack with unpack, existing UMI repack twrp and stock recovery, the touch does not work but with some Command ADB we get a root phone.

The only solution for root at the moment.

Yes it is the same procedure but I do not dare upload the recovery because the tactile does not work and it is not very practical to use for what want I want well given the recovery and the procedure has to do but this Is not the official version ...

Recovery

Then once the recovery flashed.

Connecting the smartphone to the computer

Upload supersu.zip the same as the Umi Plus

Boot into recovery with power and vol +

Run adb and execute

adb shell

twrp install /storage/name-of-zip

Enjoy !

Yes but i'm not a Developer, Just a geek who likes to tinker Android. If you know how I managed to run the TWRP ... ^^

I'm not a developer, but I love to tinker also, and I'm trying to get some love over @ XDA/developers/forum, but no luck. If the devs don't adopt the device, then we can forget about development unless we take on the project, and I'm seriously handicapped right now, no machine, no internet other than free wifi. I should be up and running in a couple of weeks, again I'm not a developer, but I know my way around, and Android was made with people like me in mind, tinkerers.

I just put together a Linux Box, I'm using my phone to tether so give me a couple of days to setup my environment.
