Ease Of Rooting

Hi,

I want to root my Max for the sole purpose of pairing it with a PS3 Sixaxis Controller for gaming purposes... how easy is it to root this handset? Rootjoy... is this just for changing ROMs?

I've come from a Meizu Pro 5 which involved ticking a box in the security settings so a used to easy rooting. I can root harder devices but basically i'm getting a bit lazy.

Rootjoy is a discontinued project and it's not compatible with UMi MAX, except its phone management features.
