My Rome X developed this "spot" on its screen earlier this week. Not sure how it happened, the screen isn't broken as far as I can tell, the scratches on the surface are the plastic screen protector that it came with.
The touch screen is all over the place, it was never very accurate with the keyboard but is unusable for a lot of keyboard stuff.

I am wondering how long it will take to get it fixed?

Sorry for the problem with your phone Rome X. Supplier offer this method to solve the problem,

Please drop the phone to table from about 10cm height.

Are you serius? This is a good way to destroy the smartphone and lose the warranty.
