A lot of apps don't work

Hello there forum, new to the community, so a big hello to all.

I have A LOT OF TROUBLES with my new Umi Max. A lot of apps that i use day to day don't work like: Pinterest, DSFile, RARLab, Adobe PDF Reader, lots of games that i used to play on a Huawei P8 Lite (report error) and the list can go on and on. Please give me a solution, i can't work without these apps.

The phone has a great build (sim tray is a little unstable) battery is good, functions work well but not as i expected.

Overall not satisfied with the new phone

i can add shazam and twitter (unfortunately app has stopped)

Hi Marius, you can try Factory hard reset and then try to reinstall apps.....(i m still waiting for my Umi MAx I hope i dont get problems with it.)

Also the quick charger is not that quick. In 1 hour it managed to charge from 1% to 30%.

I'll keep updating this post with day to day experience.

Hi,

There are a lot of apps that can't run if they're installed on the SD card. Anyway all the listed apps can run properly on UMi MAX if they're installed on the internal memory. The solution is to format your memory card as external storage (recommended) or to subsequently move the installed apps to the internal memory.
The UMi MAX comes with a normal 1A charger. Have you bought a PE quick charger separately? You need that to fast charge your phone.

After a hard reset all mentioned apps work. And i did not use SD card as internal memory.

About the charger i did not know that but the point is that in phone description that part with the PE is not mentioned, and here i'm talking about the retailer that sold me the phone. Thanks.

You have to buy UMi quick charger it is about 11 euros on aliexpress.

just search for umi super charger on aliexpress.
the one you have is not quick sharger it is normal 5v 1A charger, Umi max doesnot ship with quick charger but it suports quick charging so you have to buy one separately.

What i can say after the hard reset is that my phone is stable, works amazing, 0 lag thow i don't close apps i use for days. Battery is good, almost 2 days for the daily jobs and most important i tested it on some intensive games for about 2 hours and temperature level changed only a bit. A little dissapointed on the volume level but that's not much of a biggy.

Question is how can i make this phone save media (pictures and videos) directly on SD card, as i can see there is no option inside the camera app.

In Settings - - > Storage and USB set the Default write disk to your SD card, and your photos and videos will be saved there.
