BLACK SCREEN - URGENT - DATA NEEDED

Hi Guys,
As many of you I also had a problem with black screen with rom version 3.01 (screen became very often black so the only way was to remove battery and switch on again) so I flashed 3.03 using rootjoy and it seemed to be ok for the last 3 months. I was afraid to reboot it or switch it off, so I tried to leave some battery load. Until today when I had to change the sim card...
I switched off the phone properly, changed the sim and now the phone does not turn on anymore, just black screen... battery out and it does not help anymore either so don't know what to do really as I need pretty urgently media files saved on the device.

ANY ADVICES PLEASE???!!!

Dear imisha,

I suggest you to install the v3.05 version with SP Flash Tool. Link: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-2739-1-1.html
To keep your data , you can choose to uncheck the userdata partition before flashing but in that case your phone might remain bricked.
Another way to backup your data before flashing is to flash only a TWRP recovery. If you boot your phone into TWRP, you can access the phone storage via the same way as you can do it under the running Android system.

If I still flash 3.05 with usrdata will my pics and videos be deleted as well or only contacts, apps and settings? I need actually only few pics and videos, for other things I have a backup

If you flash with userdata, all data stored on the internal memory will be lost.

at me same problem but my software version is newest 3.04. first time helped refrigerator, now it wont helping, problem would be solved if battery capacity would be bigger and phone wont charge off

I have the same problem of black sreen with UMI Rome build 3.04 when I restart the phone. I must remove the battery and reinsert it if I need the screen running. If the black screen happen with the phone connectd to a PC with Rootjoy, it seems that the phone is running, the problem is that the phone screen is not working. I tried to flash the phone with the new ROM 3.5 using Rootjoy but, after flashing with Rootjoy, I see I have always the UMI Rome build 3.04 How can I solve the problem?

umi could say how to test creens conectors, maybe problem is not with sreen but with phone board
p.s. SAME PROBLEM and to me, updated rom from 3.04 to 3.05 but no reaction

\n\nFIXED!!!! putted in freezer witouht battery, turned on and no umi logo, taked off baterry and repeated again and it turned on ... vuala

It seems to be a connection issue of the ribbon cable of the LCD. The screen should be disconnected from the motherboard, then firmly reconnected to establish a proper connection.

I have the same problem (rom 3.05)
whether a few pictures how to do it
