Possible bricked phone

Hi. My Umi Rome X will not start up at all. I've had problems before with flashing TWRP (I still did not manage to flash it). When i turn the phone on all that happens is that the backlight comes on....no Umi logo - absolutely nothing. After a few seconds if i touch the screen i can hear the sound of the phone and the vibration but the screen is still just backlit with no writing, absolutely nothing. I've tried to re-flash the rom and the procedure seems to work (i get the green tick on SP flash tool) but once i start the phone all i get is the backlight. No bootloader, no recovery, nothing. I've pulled the battery and restarted the phone countless times but all i get is the backlight. Even before this i could not boot into recovery as it just was not there. Any suggestions or is my phone dead?

Dear,
You should power off your phone, then reinstall it on your phone, then try to flash your phone again, don't move your phone, during the flashing period.

I've flashed the 3.02 ROM several times (since v3.05 is not yet available in the ROM section) and i still get the backlit screen and nothing else. I've flashed using SP Tool using the download option, format and download option plus the firmware option and every time it appears to flash & i get the green tick but upon reboot i get the backlight and nothing else. I think its bricked. :-(

I've managed to fix my phone by using the v3.05 ROM from Needrom. Phone works fine so far. Even though my recovery is working fine again at last I won't attempt flashing TWRP just yet though as i'm just pleased to have my phone working again.

I got the same problem, impossible to go back to a previous software version tried 3.01 3.02 3.04 only 3.05 is ok and working when i downgrade firmware i got only backlight with no logo and only touchscreen works. This has resolved touchpad sensivity problem, i don t know why but no sensivity problem after downgrade and upgrade back with needrom firmware 3.05 will try the gps tomorrow
