would someone be able to tell me why the Umi Touch i recently purchased will not work in Australia and if there is anything i can do to fix this problem??
Sydney user, on Optus network. Using 4G on the touch without any problems. Can't really help you with your problem as I have no idea why it doesn't work for you, as mine worked out of the box. Just letting you know that you being in Australia shouldn't be a problem.
I'm using a UMi Touch on the Optus network with an Amaysim SIM card. Calls were OK but mobile data needed the APN information input as per the below link. If this is a similar problem to yours try your company's help section. https://www.amaysim.com.au/help- ... pport:setup_android
you were a big help, thank you, went back to telstra, told them what you said, they suggested i try optus, optus works fine, telstra tried everything and couldn't get it going, strange??
